The chapter’s volunteer opportunities are specific and task-driven. Our members’ time is valuable, so you may make an impact without making an extensive time commitment.  Won’t you consider volunteering in one of these areas?

  • Scholarship – Reviews applications and awards scholarships to New Jersey residents who are attending college studying insurance and business-related fields.

  • Membership – Maintains outreach to members through various communication media.

  • I-Day – plans workshops; works with speakers, vendors, etc., assists onsite to ensure smooth flow of the day.

  • Education – Coordinate one or more educational seminars for the chapter. May involve selecting topics and speakers or hosting on-site registrations. 

  • Candidate Recruitment and Development – May coordinate receptions/networking events to increase membership.

  • New Designee Rep – Maintains contact with new designees; provides input to the board from the perspective of new designees.  May coordinate new designee group project.

  • Ad hoc Volunteer Pool – Perhaps you are unable to join a committee’s tasks but would like to be included in our roster of ad hoc volunteers.
